Every piece of Seed Spider equipment has a patented rotating sponge pad that separates and meters the seeds gently and without ever damaging them. The variable-speed electric motor does the job of controlling the seed rate, making adjustments simple. Metering units are available with up to six outlets and have quick-release handles for quicker and more efficient seed changes.

- Roller Seeder – Its electronic seed metering is controlled by a microprocessor, delivering tremendous seed placement accuracy over a broad range of seed types. The Roller Seeder sows relatively fast – up to 6kph. It is constructed with stainless steel and durable plastic to ensure long life.
- Self-Propelled Model – Perfect for glasshouse applications, it features hydraulically-driven front and rear rollers, making this machine ideal even for the lightest of soils. The operator mounts on a trailed sulky, leaving the placed seed undamaged. It is available in petrol and diesel options.
- 2-Outlet Metering Unit (available with 5/8” or 1” hose) – It features an electric-encoded motor-driven sponge that meters raw and coated seed uniformly. Each metering unit dispenses one to six lines. It adapts easily to existing planting sleds during its seed rate controller and driver feature GPS speed sensing. Each operator accepts up to eight metering units, and the controller will accept up to eight drivers. An economy controller/driver (that will accept up to four metering units) is also available for smaller growers.
